When an add-on makes sense
The add-on model is intended for a temporary increase that would not justify changing the recurring plan: a short backlog, a seasonal spike, or the final days before the allowance resets. If the practice consistently needs more capacity, compare the recurring plans instead.
The billing view calculates the server-authoritative unit rate and total before checkout. Its pricing rule adds at least a 25 percent premium to the plan's underlying per-encounter rate and rounds the unit price in a predictable way. Additional encounters become available only after payment is confirmed.
How extra capacity appears
The usage view separates included plan allowance, referral bonus encounters, and purchased add-on encounters. This lets an authorized user understand how capacity is applied after the included monthly amount is used.
Paid add-on encounters remain available until used. Referral bonuses have separate eligibility and expiry rules, so read the current on-screen terms.

Important referral terms
- Bonus encounters have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn as money.
- The current program limits credited referrals and may reject self-referrals, duplicates, fraud, or ineligible practices.
- Available bonus encounters expire under the current displayed terms; the product shows available and used amounts.
- The referred organization must complete its own independent privacy, security, and product review.
