Ask Porvio: product help, short memory, and its confirmed action

Ask Porvio is a concise product guide inside the dashboard. It can explain Porvio, link to allowlisted Porvio routes, and propose toggling a template favourite with confirmation. It cannot inspect patient records or perform important clinical, billing, access, security, or deletion actions.

Questions Ask Porvio is designed to answer

The assistant is intentionally concise. It should give the next useful answer rather than a long general explanation. Links in an answer are clickable only when they point to an allowlisted Porvio route.

  • Where do I start a new encounter?
  • How do I create or edit a template?
  • What is the difference between a draft and finalized note?
  • Where can an owner invite a team member?
  • How do encounter allowances and add-ons work?
  • Why does Porvio ask for consent before capture?
02

The confirmed template favourite action

Ask Porvio currently supports one confirmed write action: toggling whether a reusable template is a favourite when the signed-in user has authority. The proposal names the template and exact change, then presents a confirmation step. Nothing changes merely because the assistant described the action.

The assistant cannot use this mechanism to confirm patient consent, finalize a note, send a message or referral, purchase a plan, change roles or security, delete information, or perform a bulk clinical action.

03

How short chat memory works

Within the open dashboard session, Ask Porvio can use the last three completed exchanges so a follow-up question has enough context. The memory is deliberately small and is not a searchable transcript history. It clears when the page reloads, the user signs out, or the active workspace changes.

Porvio's support analytics are aggregate. They can count delivered messages, token use, channel, and estimated or reported cost without exposing the actual message text to the support dashboard.

04

Information Ask Porvio should never receive

Ask Porvio does not have patient or encounter record access. If a product issue involves sensitive information, contact the practice's authorized administrator or Porvio support through the approved route and share only the minimum information requested.

  • Patient names, contact details, health numbers, records, or encounter content.
  • Clinical questions, diagnosis requests, treatment decisions, or emergency information.
  • Passwords, verification codes, payment details, access tokens, or private invitation links.
  • Personal or confidential workforce information.
